This creamy salad dressing is a new favorite of ours! It also couldn’t be any easier to make — add all ingredients to a food processor or high-powered blender and voila!
It can be tricky (and expensive) to find a salad dressing made from quality ingredients. Making your own dressing at home is a great alternative to buying one! Perks of making your own: much cheaper, filled with healthy fats, and you can personalize the flavor (have fun with herbs and spices)! The creaminess of this dressing comes from tahini (i.e. sesame seed butter); it can be found by the nut butters in most grocery stores.
We enjoy using this as a dressing for salads or drizzling it over roasted vegetables, especially roasted sweet potatoes…YUM!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or high-powered blender. Process or blend until all ingredients are well combined, stopping to scrape down sides of the container if need be. Enjoy!
